Interesting to consider the degree to which that puts whole new expectations on romance genre writing. Which, to be fair to Netflix, the adaptation of Virgin River is much better than the books it’s based on. Rachelle Hampton: Honestly, the way Netflix has dragged out Virgin River (which I love and adore) makes me think that they’re more than willing to pull a Game of Thrones and keep going past where the books leave off.
